Scott Bade, President, ImageSoft

Scott is responsible for the overall management and direction of ImageSoft, which provides technology to automate, streamline and improve workplace processes, increase productivity and reduce operating costs. For more than 25 years he has designed and deployed document management and workflow systems for some of the largest corporate and government agencies in North America. During that time, he developed, sold and managed a large number of custom document management products and projects. He is a Certified Document Imaging Architect, a charter recipient of the prestigious AIIM Master of Information Technology award, and a 2011 recipient of the Leaders & Innovators award presented by Lawrence Tech University.


Bill Priemer, President and CEO, Hyland Software

Bill joined Hyland Software in 1997 as Vice President of Marketing. In 2001, he was promoted to Vice President of Sales & Marketing, was named Chief Operating Officer in 2005 and became the company’s CEO in January 2013. He has been a leading figure in driving the successful growth of Hyland, leading all client and partner-facing initiatives, including global sales and marketing, professional services, technical training and Hyland’s industry-leading customer support. Prior to joining Hyland, Bill was a Manager of New Service Development at Federal Express and served as a Manager of Business Development for AST Research, a personal computer manufacturer.

David B. Behen, Director, Department of Technology, Management & Budget & CIO, State of Michigan

David BehenIn his dual capacities at the State of Michigan, David is responsible for setting strategic direction and ensuring timely delivery of state services. As director of DTMB, David leads efforts to provide the full range of information technology and communications, facility management, financial, procurement, fleet and retirement services, among others. As state CIO, he directs development of IT resources to meet the growing needs of Michigan’s citizens. David holds a seat on Governor Rick Snyder’s Cabinet, advising the governor on technology investments and implementing innovative IT programs. He also holds a number of board and committee positions in professional and technology organizations. Before joining the State of Michigan, David cofounded a software company and served as a vice president and CIO of its parent corporation. He previously worked as CIO and deputy administrator of Washtenaw County.


BREAKOUT SESSION PRESENTERS

Colleen Alber, Product Evangelist, Hyland Software

Colleen has been evangelizing the OnBase ECM platform for the past eight years—driving adoption of the software by translating technology into business value. It is her job to create and communicate effective messaging through product collateral, live presentations and software demonstrations.


Terry Chaudhuri, Senior Sales Engineer, ImageSoft

Terry has worked in IT and Enterprise Content Management for over seven years and is a Kofax Capture Certified Consultant, an OnBase Certified Installer, and is technically certified in Kodak Capture Pro. Terry has worked with numerous customers in many vertical markets, including Government, Healthcare and Financial. He has extensive experience with advanced document capture and currently works jointly with both the ImageSoft Sales and Technical teams.


Kevin Flanagan, Industry Manager, Government Solutions, Hyland Software

Before rejoining Hyland in 2012, Kevin spent over four years managing the government sales efforts for one of Hyland’s largest resellers. He started with Hyland (the first time) in early 2004 and, while there, served a year in Marketing as the Channel Marketing Specialist before moving to Sales as a Channel Account Representative and eventually becoming a Regional Account Manager. Kevin is responsible for evangelizing a government-focus to Hyland’s Value Added Reseller community and creating and marketing new Hyland government solutions.


Ryan Foley, Senior Enterprise Architect, ImageSoft

Ryan is responsible for architecting enterprise-level technology solutions and products as well as developing and supporting the integrations between ImageSoft products and ECM systems. He joined ImageSoft in 2006 as a Technical Intern helping to implement custom solutions and eventually transitioned to the role of System Engineer in 2008 and Senior System Engineer in 2012. More recently, Ryan moved to his current position on the Product Development team to focus on developing products for ECM solutions.


Steve Glisky, Vice President, Government Practice Manager, ImageSoft

A founding partner of ImageSoft, Steve leads the company’s Government Solutions Team, architecting and deploying preconfigured turn-key workflow solutions which provide rapid return on investment. A computer industry veteran with expertise in developing systems and application-level software, since 2002, Steve has focused solely on developing document and content management solutions, with special emphasis on deploying solutions for government and the courts. He is a Certified Document Imaging Architect and also holds certification in knowledge management and computer telephony.


Renee Hernandez, Juvenile Court Secretary & OnBase System Administrator, St. Clair County, MI

Renee has worked in the County’s Prosecutor Office for 14 years as the Family Court Secretary handling delinquent, neglect and personal protection order violation cases, and as the OnBase point person at St. Clair County. She has served on the PACC/PAAM Technical Services Committee since 2012 and subcommittees to design a new version of Adult Case Tracking and Juvenile Case Tracking. In 2007 Renee implemented the ImageSoft Prosecution Solution at St. Clair County, and in 2013 secured grant funding for system updates and enhancements. She oversaw staff training in the use of the system and also trained local Law Enforcement to use TrueFiling. Renee is a member of the LEAP Advisory Committee and she recently earned certification as an OnBase System Administrator and as an OnBase Workflow Administrator.


Tom Hansel, Technical Team Support Lead, ImageSoft

As a Certified Support Professional, Tom has over six years of enterprise level customer support experience. He joined the ImageSoft team in 2008 where his contributions have helped the company earn Hyland Diamond Support Partner status for exemplary customer service annually since 2003. Tom holds certification in Web Server Administration and is an OnBase Certified Installer and a Certified Kofax Technical Solutions Specialist.


Terri Jones, Industry Marketing Manager, Hyland Software

Before joining the Hyland Software government team, Terri spent 13 years in state and county government working on economic and community development grant programs, neighborhood revitalization, planning and information technology. As an IT Director, she deployed websites, data systems and OnBase document management and workflow. At Hyland, Terri focuses on identifying and highlighting best practices for using technology and measuring its impact on government entities. She holds degrees in law and public policy.


Peter Kiefer, Civil Court Administrator, Maricopa
County, AZ

Peter has worked for the Maricopa Superior Court since 2001. Before assuming his current role, he served as the Criminal Court Administrator and later as Regional Administrator. Prior to that, he was Manager of Trial Court Programs Division for the California Administrative Office of the Courts, and earlier worked as the Director of Trial Court Programs Division for the Oregon State Court Administrator’s Office for nearly 15 years. Peter has worked on overseas Rule of Law assignments in Liberia and Beirut; visited the People’s Republic of China as a court administrator representative, and has enjoyed co-editing The Court Manager ethics column for many years. He has also conducted more than a dozen presentations on both the future of the courts and on court ethics.


Dan Krueger, County Clerk/Register of Deeds, Ottawa County, MI

Daniel was appointed Ottawa County Clerk in 1978 and since then, has continually served in that capacity. He was also elected as the Ottawa County Clerk/ Register of Deeds in 2012. As the Clerk of Circuit Court Records, Daniel initiated computerization of court processes in the 1980s and began the process of digitizing the county’s court records in 2006. He has continued to work toward a paper on demand court process using electronic transmittal of records between county court and law enforcement offices, electronic signature, electronic certification of court documents and online jury processes. During his tenure, Daniel has been appointed to and continues to serve on numerous state and local boards, commissions and committees, and has earned multiple accolades and honors for his work, among them, County Clerk of the Year, and Continuing Education Clerk of the Year from Michigan State University.


Dan Mayernik, Director of Product Development, ImageSoft

A Microsoft Certified Professional, Dan joined ImageSoft in 2009 as ECM Practice Manager. In 2011, he was named Product Development Manager, and in 2012 was promoted to his current position in which he is responsible for developing and managing ImageSoft’s existing products and services as well as creating and integrating new products and product changes. Dan has more than 15 years’ experience in proven software application development and in the analysis, design, construction and delivery of enterprise-level software applications. He also has extensive technical expertise creating enterprise-wide ECM, BPM and custom.NET applications leveraging technologies such as SharePoint, OnBase, Kofax and IBM FileNet and is a Microsoft Certified Professional.


Lisa McCormick, Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney,
Ingham County, MI

Lisa joined the Ingham County Prosecutor’s office in 1997 as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney assigned to the Criminal Division prosecuting cases in district and circuit court. During her tenure there, she was assigned to the Drug and Forfeiture Unit prosecuting serious drug trafficking offenses. In 2005, she was promoted to Unit Chief of the Child Sexual Assault Unit; promoted to Deputy Chief Assistant Prosecutor in October of 2007; and named Chief Assistant Prosecutor in December of 2008. In her current role, Lisa is responsible for managing 30 attorneys and numerous support staff, administering grants, and overseeing a $6 million dollar annual budget. She also chairs the Ingham County Concealed Weapons Licensing Board and sits on the Tax Board of Review for Delta Township.


William Nichols, Prosecutor, Monroe County, MI

William Nichols has been the Prosecuting Attorney for Monroe County since 2005. Prior to that, he served as the Monroe Chief Prosecutor from 2001-2004. Previous to this position, he was the Assistant Prosecutor in Monroe County. William is a board member of the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan and also serves on the PAAM Technical Services Committee.


Toni Smith, Senior Account Manager, ImageSoft

Toni came to ImageSoft in 2005 as a Business Analyst bringing more than 25 years of information technology experience, 10 of those in the ECM space. She subsequently was promoted to Business Analyst Manager and later was named Insurance Practice Manager. This year, she transitioned to her current role on the Sales team. Before joining ImageSoft, Toni served as Director of Information Systems at MHA Insurance Company and as Information Systems Manager at Michigan Construction Self Insurers Fund.


Kathi Weigold, Senior System Support Technician, Clinton County, MI

Kathi has worked in the Clinton County IT department, which supports over 15 County departments, since 1999. Since 2010 the County has implemented ImageSoft JusticeTech™ in its Friend of the Court, Circuit Court, Probate Court, and the Clerk’s office, and Kathi has led that initiative.
