Charlevoix County Awards Contract to ImageSoft, Inc. january 07, 2004
ImageSoft, Inc. announced today that it has
been awarded a contract by Charlevoix County, Michigan to provide an OnBase
Integrated Document Management System. ImageSoft system engineers and
field integrators will implement a multi-department system and provide technical
support.
Charlevoix County is moving forward with a progressive solution that will help the
county increase efficiency and improve the level of service to citizens and
customers. Other considerations in selecting the OnBase system were the ability
to easily share documents, implement an effective disaster recovery program
and comply with local and state records retention regulations. Scott Bade, Vice
President of ImageSoft said, “The OnBase enterprise solution will automate and
improve a number of internal workflow processes while leveraging information in
the county’s line of business applications.”
Future Charlevoix County plans include expansion to additional departments and
providing web access to citizens and companies. Chuck Rondinone, Senior Account Executive at ImageSoft said, “The solution will enhance how information
is disseminated and bring important information to the fingertips of citizens and
county workers.”
Among the reasons Charlevoix County chose ImageSoft to implement OnBase
were the system ease of use, low total cost of ownership and the menu-driven
design. The menu-driven design makes the solution much less reliant on custom
programming and development that can be time intensive and costly.
