ImageSoft employee honored with AIIM distinguished service award


ImageSoft’s own, Steve Polasky, was announced as a 2008 Distinguished Service Award Recipient at the gala celebration prior to the 2008 Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM) International Exposition and Conference held recently at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center.

Polasky, Senior Consultant here at ImageSoft has been with the company for six years and is now the second employee to have received AIIM’s Distinguished Service Award. In addition to ImageSoft’s award-winning solutions, we have the award-winning experts to better serve our clients.

Established in 1973, this award is open to all Professional Members of AIIM and recognizes only ten individuals each year.

To be eligible to receive the Distinguished Service Award, each nominee must:

  • Be a Professional Member of AIIM;
  • Demonstrated active voluntarism during the past twelve (12) months; and
  • Demonstrated service to the ECM industry, chapters, standards, or other voluntarism serving the Association.

Founded in 1943, AIIM is now known as AIIM-The ECM Association. International in scope, it is the leading non-profit organization focused on helping users understand the challenges associated with merging documents, content, records, and business processes.

Polasky has been an AIIM member since 1995 and is currently Treasurer for the Michigan chapter of AIIM. In the past, his AIIM activities have included chapter President and Newsletter Editor, extensive involvement with local educational programs, and extensive membership database work for the Michigan Chapter. He has been involved in providing business solutions in the areas of CAD/CAM, Automated Voice Processing and Document Management since 1985.
